SkirtBike, 15 mai 2010, orele 16, Muzeul Taranului Roman
Proiectul VeloBello, iniţiat de asociaţia Bate Şaua să Priceapă Iapa, îşi propune să introducă bicicleta în viaţa de zi cu zi a femeilor şi a tuturor românilor lipsiţi de prejudecăţi. Iniţiatoarele proiectului sunt nişte bicicliste vesele, inteligente şi pasionate, care vor să convingă cât mai multe femei să înfrunte traficul bucureştean pe două roţi.
SkirtBike este primul eveniment biciclistic din România destinat cu precădere femeilor (vezi comunicat in format pdf). Iniţiatoarele sale îşi propun să redea femeilor curajul de a pedala în oraş şi de a se exprima în stilul lor unic şi cochet. Şi aceasta pentru că mersul pe bicicletă zilnic la serviciu, la piaţă sau în oraş cu prietenii reprezintă un mod de viaţă echilibrat, plin de naturaleţe, simplitate, feminitate şi atitudine. Bicicleta este noua ”little black dress”.
Evenimentul se va desfăşura sâmbătă, 15 mai 2010, începând cu ora 16 şi va avea ca punct de plecare Muzeul de Geologie, situat pe Bd. Kisellef nr. 2. La întoarcerea de pe traseu, biciclistele vor fi răsfăţate cu muzică bună, limonadă proaspătă şi fursecuri de către gazda evenimentului, Clubul Ţăranului (MŢR) şi îşi vor putea împărtăşi experienţele din trafic. În plus, fotografi profesionişti vor surprinde cele mai chic ipostaze, iar sponsorii evenimentului vor premia cele mai frumoase bicicliste.
